The A4 Arts Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the arts in Southern Africa. A4 is grounded by an understanding of art as a reciprocal resource, a catalyst for innovation, and a medium of collectivity.
Configured within a three-storey warehouse on Buitenkant Street in Cape Town, the A4 Arts centre hosts a gallery and project space, as well as a multimedia library.
As part of Parallel Play, A4 and Bad Paper present the noise ensemble NRNA.
Garth Erasmus – Bow and Saxaphone
Dylan T. Graham – Electric Guitar
Justin Allart – Electronics and Devices
Jacob van Schalkwyk – Voice
Time: 18:30 - 20:00
For Parallel Play, A4 renders its gallery into a shared and open studio.
Interested in the relationship between artworks and the processes that lead to or from them, the project hosts a series of micro-studios with a view to engage and share the flow between the making and the made.
