Wall Eyes:Looking at Italy and Africa is presented by the Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria. Curated by Ilaria Bernardi, the group show aims to spark dialogue between young Italian and African contemporary artists on shared themes.
This travelling exhibition, having opened in Johannesburg, is on view at 6 Spin Street from 21 November to 11 December, following which it will be seen in Rome in January 2020. Participating Italian artists for the duration of the exhibition are Rä di Martino, Silvia Giambrone, Andrea Mastrovito, Elena Mazzi, Luigi Presicce, Marta Roberti, Marinella Senatore, Eugenio Tibaldi, Gian Maria Tosatti and Luca Trevisani; South African artists represented in Cape Town are Jared Ginsburg, Rodan Kane Hart and Bronwyn Katz.
