Uniquity is a new boutique gallery space on the corner of Loop and Longmarket, showcasing works by a rotation of well-known and emerging artists.
Uniquity Art Gallery is proud to be exhibiting a selection of new paintings by world-renowned South African artist Nelson Makamo.
Makamo achieved instant acclaim after media mogul Oprah Winfrey visited him in Johannesburg and purchased a work of his. He has since been commissioned to paint a cover for Time Magazine, and exhibits in Europe and the U.S.
Uniquity Art Gallery is humbled to be able to showcase 5 of Makamo's new oil paintings on Belgian linen. The works will be on display for First Thursdays on 5 September, but access may be limited in order to manage capacity.
